How did you choose your LiveJournal username? Is there an interesting story behind it?

My friend and I were watching an interview with Good Charlotte and Paul, their bassist said something about no one ever loving the bassist. My friend was also a bassist and he agreed with Mr. Thomas. I laughed at him and told him I was a bassist girl. Thus bassistsgrl...the 03 is because that's the year I graduated from high school.

Mention 5 things that are going on around you:
*Life...faster than I appreciate it
*Breckenridge, my chocolate lab...she never stops!
*My IPod...it's playing Atreyu's cover of Epic.
*Chris Rock, bleeping away on Comedy Centrel
*My brain...it won't stop!!!

Tell us 4 things about yourself (habits, something weird, hobbies or something you think is special about you), positive or negative:
*I almost finished my bachelor's degree in History and English...I was one semester short, then I decided I didn't want to teach anymore. Now I'm going to massage school, I've never been so excited for school to start!
*I don't give myself time to grieve...I've not even sat down and cried over my grandma, the Rev and several other disturbing incedinces that have occured of late.
*I couldn't listen to Avenged Sevenfold for the past couple of weeks...the sounds of the drums made my stomach hurt. I had to leave my friend in a bar until Unholy Confessions stopped playing...kinda pathetic I know!
*I'm 24 and never been kissed...REALLY pathetic...I know!

Share 3 thoughts that are going through your head right now:
*Thank you Angie for helping me get my hell hole cleaned up today!!!
*I can't believe I just rooted for the Cowboys...hell must have frozen over in the past couple of effin cold nights!
*Man my throat hurts...I hope it's just the dust and me not catching something!!

2 things that are a must have in a partner:
*Sense of humor!!!
*Patience...I'm not high maitenence in the material way, but my mind is one screwed up place and I HAVE to have someone with the patience to sift through it and still love me.

1 memory that made you happy once and still makes you smile today:
Yanking the bitch's hair at the AFI concert last month...fuck with my sister...I dare you! Also getting to expierience my sister falling in love with Avenged Sevenfold, there's nothing like having that kind of thing in common!!! I know what I mean, you don't have to :)

I'm still writing...it's just coming really hard right now, obviously. And seeing as my mpreg was very Jimmy centered, it's gonna be awhile because I refuse to cut him out of it, but it's gonna take some time to be able to write him again. So, you'll probably see a continuation of Papa What? and My Photographs before you'll see more Us...but I'll do my darndest to return to it eventually. Sorry if it disapoints you.

Chocolate...in a heart beat. Of course...I don't like chocolate, so that was an easy decision :)

So...here's the run down of the AFI concert I went to. I know not too many people will be interested, but I know Joey'll want to know. But I'll put it behind a cut so I don't ovewhelm anyone's Friend's page.

If you could only listen to one CD for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Sorry...that was my worst nightmare come true! I just couldn't do it! Especially since who knows what epically amazing CD's are gonna come out after I choose this one CD...that just makes me panicy and sad thinking about this question! That was not something very nice to wake up to!

Have you ever participated in a seance? If not, would you consider it? What spirit would you summon and what question would you ask them? Do you believe we can get messages from the dead?

If you only had one day left to live, and you had the chance to tell one person from your past "I love you," who would it be? How about "I'm sorry"?

Since he'll never read this...I'd probably tell Andrew that I loved him. And I'd probably tell my mom sorry.

It's not too extreme (for most people) but I saw someone hurt themselves and was so gone that I was more worried about making my train then helping them. And then I lost all my car payment and insurance money because I was to messed up to notice someone slipping their hands in my pants pocket. The result is I'm now 2 1/2 months into my straight edge life. I'm lovin' it!!

Have you ever stopped being friends with someone over differences in political views? Are there any issues that are so important to you that you cannot be friends with someone who holds a contrary opinion?

View 980 Answers

Good grief no...I mean chew on this. I'm a...let's say libertarian...not quite republican and not quite democrat, there are views from both sides of the aisle that I agree with. I have a friend who considers herself a socialist...yeah...may not agree with many of her political views but I still think she's an amazing person! I couldn't imagine cutting down my friends list just because we don't see eye to eye on politics! How sad!

What was the most memorable concert you ever attended? What made it so magical?

View 1503 Answers

It's a tie between two of the Avenged Sevenfold concerts I've seen. One of them was at Magness Arena in Denver, they were playing with Coheed and Cambria. My sister and I somehow got stuck behind the HUGE guys...I swear some high school was missing their offensive line! The first note Coheed play, the guy in front of me's elbow got up close and personal with my eye...as it did for the rest of the time that my sister and I stayed in the pit. And Avengeds set...HOLY CRAP!!!! It was made of pure amazing awesomeness!! Not even joking!

The other one is the last one I saw with them, Rev Theory, Drowning Pool and Buckcherry! It was down in the Springs...and yeah, great bands, great friends, great times!!

From Dr. Polidori's Lord Ruthven to Stephenie Meyer's Edward Cullen, the annals of vampire lore are filled with attractive, charming bloodsuckers. Which one would you most want to be bitten by?

Awww, now I have to show my lameness. Forget Edward, I'd go for Emmett for one thing. And how about just going for Bram Stoker's Dracula (especially if we're talking the movie...yum!)

Who is your favorite lady detective from movies, books, or TV?

View 508 Answers

On TV, I love Olivia Benson...not only is she gorgeous, but she just (along with her other detectives) brings such a human element!

When I was younger I liked the Nancy Drew novels, mainly because it was my first taste of the 'anything you can do' between boys and girls...it made me proud :)

No bills!! My coworker and I were actually talking about this the other day. We all couldn't wait to grow up when we were little and now most of us would give anything to go back to the days when our biggest responsiblity was getting back inside the house before the street lamps came on so we didn't get in trouble!

It's Memorial Day in the States, a time to remember those who have died while in military service. Who would you like to remember today?

View 500 Answers

It's not just those who died, it's those who served. I'd like to remember my dad, who's over in Kuwait still, fighting the good fight of computer security for the Army.

And my friends who are over there, the ones who've come home and the ones who are gonna leave.

Of course, we must remember those who came before and gave us the rights and freedoms we enjoy today.

If you knew that a friend's significant other was cheating on him or her, would you tell your friend the truth or keep it to yourself?

View 503 Answers

I think it depends on whether or not I was absolutely, one hundred percent positive that it was happening, because otherwise I might say something wrong and destroy something perfect because I was mistaken. Now, if I positively knew, you bet your happy ass I'd say something!
